About Jelly Raccoon

A sneaky raccoon with a stash of jelly and over a thousand game cards.

What it is

Jelly Raccoon has five free party games: a charades word generator, would you rather questions, a truth or dare generator, never have I ever statements and a Pictionary word generator. Each one has a timer or a scoreboard where it helps, keyboard shortcuts, and a big-card mode for passing a phone round or putting the game on a television.

Who wrote the cards

Every prompt, question, truth, dare and statement was written for this site. There are two sets for most games: one for family and kids, and a bigger one for teens and adults. Neither has anything sexual, any drinking games or anything dangerous or humiliating, so the site works for school clubs, family gatherings and grown-up parties alike.

How it works

The games run entirely in your browser. Cards are drawn at random, without repeats until a deck runs out, using your device's own random number generator. Team names, scores, settings and the cards you have already seen are kept in your browser's local storage so a game survives a page refresh; nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account to make.

Who is behind it

Jelly Raccoon is an independent, free site with no ads. It is not connected to the makers of any board game; game names such as charades and Pictionary are used only to describe how to play.
