# Never have I ever

Hold up your fingers, read the statement, and put one down if you have done it. The last player with fingers up wins. No drinking, nothing awkward, just good stories.

## How to play

1. Everyone holds up ten fingers (or three or five for a quicker game), and you add each player's name to the scoreboard.
2. Read the statement aloud, starting with "Never have I ever…".
3. Anyone who *has* done it puts a finger down: press their **Finger down** button, or the number key for their place on the list. Sharing the story behind it is half the fun.
4. Players with no fingers left are out. The last player with fingers up wins; press *All fingers back* for a new round.

## A clean version for any group

This is the party game without the drinking: nobody takes a sip, they just lower a finger. All 165 statements were written for Jelly Raccoon about everyday life, food, travel and the outdoors, school and work, and screens. The 125 statements in the family set suit children; the teens and adults set adds things like replying to work emails at midnight or forgetting a passport. There is nothing about romance, alcohol or anything that would single someone out. Statements do not repeat until you have seen every one that matches your settings.

## Questions

**Do I have to explain when I put a finger down?**

No. Telling the story is optional; a player can always just lower a finger and move on.

**Is there a version for kids?**

Yes. Choose Family and kids: every statement in that set is about things like sleepovers, school trips and pets. Children who are not reading yet can play while an adult reads aloud.

**Are the players and fingers saved?**

Yes, in this browser's local storage, so a page refresh does not end the game. Nothing is sent anywhere.
